DNA test report for a dog named Goldstrike's Chicken and Dumplin, a Golden Retriever, detailing breed health tests with results including clear and variant statuses for conditions like degenerative myelopathy, progressive retinal atrophy, and muscular dystrophy.

*Important Note: The test results indicate that Dumplin is a carrier for Ichthyosis ICH1 (doggy dandruff). Since she is only a carrier, she does not have Ichthyosis. She is clinically healthy and will not have any symptoms of Ichthyosis. All our males are clear of Ichthyosis, meaning it is impossible for their puppies to be affected by the condition (the puppies may end up carriers themselves or totally clear, but either way, they will also be clinically healthy and not have any symptoms of Ichthyosis). If you are a breeder who may end up breeding a Dumplin offspring to an Ichthyosis carrier in the future, it may be best to look at a different litter, or DNA test the puppy to see if they are a carrier or not. Otherwise, zero problems will arise from her being a carrier for anyone else wanting a Dumplin puppy!
