Jagger

Jagger is one of our phenomenal up-and-coming Striker males! He is out of our Ladybug and frozen semen from our late, 1500 point earning, phenomenal, award-winning, hunting retriever champion and upland hunter champion HRCH UHCH HELDT’S MR STRIKE 3 YOUR OUT. With Striker’s name in his background, he is sure to produce some great offspring. He also looks a lot like his dad and is known as Little Striker.

He loves to please and has been very eager to learn. He loves playing the retrieving hunting game. He has already earned his started title, granting him the name SHR Jagger Strikes Gold at Goldstrike at 11 months of age. We plan to keep training him and running him in hunt tests. Although he has big shoes to fill, we hope to get him to the 500-point club at least someday. This is not quite the accomplishment of his dad, who has over 1500 points and still holds the 3rd-highest record for a golden retriever to earn this, but we will see how far he takes us. In 2026, we hope to earn his next level title, the Hunting Retriever (HR) title, then continue on to the Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH) title. I think with this guy, if we know how to teach it, he could learn it, as his desire to please and learn is exceptional.

The fact that Jagger was an absolute natural at fetching bumpers is quite expected with the incredible pedigree he boasts. He could play for hours if you would let him, listening so well! He is quick, athletic, and a great walking companion who is always there for you.

Another cute thing that Jagger does is talk to you, as long as you make the noise back. It is really fun and always puts a smile on your face, which is inevitable if you are around this amazing guy. His crate really is his safe spot, and he does a fantastic job of staying or waiting when asked. He has been trained so well already, with much more impressive things to come!

One thing that sets Jagger apart from the rest is his unending loving nature and how much he yearns for cuddles. If you are going to sit down, he will be right there with you. If you allow it, he just loves to climb up in your lap and lie upside down, which is the optimal position for the best belly rubs! He often sleeps on his back with his legs in the air, like the goofy guy he is.

Jagger is fully certified in snuggling on the bed, the couch, and even the carpet. The love he brings to every room and every heart is really something special, and there is no doubt he will produce some wonderful puppies who will make the best companions. We are so excited to see the beautiful pups he will surely sire!
