Honey

Honey is a gorgeous, up-and-coming female out of our Maverick and our now-retired Bubbles! She has a stunning darker coat and smaller build, which some people prefer. She stays on the leaner side, but is still a beaming ray of sunshine and health! With her sire, Maverick, doing such great things and even earning his Upland Hunter and Hunting Retriever titles already, we definitely expect great things from Honey and her future puppies!

It is so adorable to see that Honey has her father’s smile! She is such a happy girl, who is full of that golden retriever love of life that cannot help but make you joyful. She even has his eyes, too! It is not hard to see where Honey gets her nice and smaller size, as her mother’s registered name was “Hunter’s Goldstrike Tiny Bubbles.” Bubbles had the most wonderful darker coat and slender build to her, earning her the “Tiny” in her name.

When it came to walking on the leash and playing fetch, Honey was an absolute natural! She really has a good drive for play and fun, making any adventure with her a blast. She enjoys learning and really loves her milkbone treats. She also has quite good manners, as she sits and waits well. It just warms your heart how well she listens, with her sweet and curious nature!

Honey just loves her snuggle time and will always look for some good pets. She loves to stay near you and is always up for some nice relaxation in the shade. When it comes to playing in the water, Honey just loves it like her dad! It took some time to get used to it when it was new, but now she will jump in after a bumper and have a blast. It is so joyous to see her find her bumper and then happily run all around with it like she has the zoomies. It’s like she is saying, “Look what I got! I am having so much fun!”

I just love to see her with that tongue out, which you can see she does all the time. Her loving heart and kindness are easy to see through her pictures. In some of them, she looks a lot like her half-sister, Butterscotch. We are so excited for all the phenomenal puppies that are surely to come from Honey in her future litters! There is no doubt in my mind that they will be adorable and make so many families happy!
