Honey is clear of a great many genetic mutations through Parentage (meaning her parents were clear of them, so she could not inherit them), which you can see by checking out the pages on Honey’s mom and dad (Bubbles and Maverick) as well as their individual Embark DNA Testing links. We only decided to check if Honey was clear of Ich specifically, as Bubbles is a carrier. Being a carrier of Ich (having only one copy of either the Ich or Ich-2 gene mutation) does not cause any symptoms or issues and is completely harmless, as you need both copies of either Ich or Ich-2 to be affected. This test shows that Honey did not inherit a copy of the Ich gene mutation from Bubbles.
